Our story began in 2006. Our first client needed a comprehensive cooling and humidification system focused on energy efficiency, in order to cut down on expenses and remain competitive. Born from an innovative design process, Freshwind approached the problem from a different paradigm, choosing to harness the natural phenomenon known as free cooling. Our first client replaced a 4MW steam-humidification system with a 7kW Freshwind-system, and operating expenses dropped to a fraction of what steam-humidification could achieve. The resulting savings paid for the entirety of the new system after only one month. Typically, our systems have a payback period of 6 months to 2 years.
The first Freshwind system was implemented in cooperation with global market leaders and with 20 years of experience in designing specialized HVAC – systems for industrial and office use. At their cores, Freshwind systems are powered by Danfoss high-pressure pumps, which offer unbeatable performance and durability. Our long history of cooperation has forged trust between our two companies, and as a result we supply and service Danfoss high-pressure pumps, valves and nozzles.
The potential displayed by the first Freshwind system created a strong belief in the capabilities of the technology, and Freshwind Ltd. was founded in 2014 by the leading experts behind the system. Freshwind Ltd. has 10 years of experience in producing comprehensive Freshwind- systems, and over 30 years of experience in industrial HVAC solutions. We’ve developed our systems in cooperation with our client’s wants and needs, and have plenty of experience in implementing the systems for diverse industrial processes and spaces. Today, Freshwind systems are responsible for dust suppression and moisture control in sawmills and wood processing factories, process cooling and moisturizing in wood processing, and for air-conditioning and cooling in various server rooms. Our versatile systems are easily scalable and adjustable, and easy to use and service.
